It can be a basic and useful index to presuppose the state of health by examining, diagnosing the various kinds of physical change took place as one grow older. To solve the problems of geriatric diseases on the increase, we conducted five kinds of clinical chemistry examination on aged people divided into two groups, a physically normal group and a group with probability of geriatric diseases. There is a significant difference between two groups in the results of examination such as cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, phospholipid, total-lipid, triglyceride, etc. This can preview that geriatric diseases cause various kinds of biochemical change.
